Yates-Laberge Family Site

Our story of adopting our son Adam from the Republic of Georgia. We traveled to Georgia in July 2002 and met Adam when he was only 2 months old. We found out while we were there that there were issues with the Russian embassy and we would not be able to take him home with us, we would have to come back for a 2nd trip to get him. We did not want to leave Andrew for a 2nd time, so we had him brought home to us by his caretaker. It was a magical day for us….he is now 6 years old and is such a gift to our lives.
