Today is Canada day! Claire is home from work. Weird….just weird. I honestly have not even looked up why we are celebrating today….I assume is Canada’s day of independence ..their “4th of July”….but, I am happy about the day since Claire could stay home.
Friday is the beginning of the Calgary STAMPEDE! It is a GYNORMOUS Rodeo here in Calgary for 2 weeks. They actaully have the “Stampede Grounds” that are buildings and fairgrounds year round. It is HUGE HUGE. I really did not understand the size of it until the BOOK of events came in the mail. SO MANY MANY EVENTS! So MANY MANY things to see and do….and my goodness….WAY WAY WAY expensive! The parade is on Friday and is going to be probably one of the biggest parades I have ever been to. We have to go to the parade route somewhere around 6-6:30 AM!!!! AM!!!! DUDE….I am so excited…….honestly!
