Claire is VERY VERY home sick…..the reality of all of our changes are sort of hitting her pretty hard. It was so nice to be able to spend a ton of time with her this weekend…but, sad to realize HOW homesick she is. I could not get her to smile all day Saturday…but, today was a little better.
If you have a few minutes, please leave her a little note or send us a link to some recent photos. I just want her to smile again…..her heart is aching…

I think of you often and I miss you. I hope your heart gets a little lighter soon. Change is very hard but in my heart I know you all did the right thing, at least for the time being. Hang in there, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Just remember this does NOT have to be the rest of your life. Your lease on your house is one year. Stick it out one year then revaluate things and make the necessary decisions. Warm weather in the summer will help. You are not stuck even though it may feel like it. Everyone down here “south of the boarder” is in your corner and wants you to make it. This life experience will make you stronger in the end. Most importantly Claire remember Albany, NY will happily greet you in a years time with open arms should you decide to venture there
I MISS YOU TOO CLAIRE!!! Could you hear me in Calgary? Moving away is always very hard, even when it should be a happy, happy time. It takes time to get settled and decide when it REALLY becomes home because that is different for everyone. We are only moving to Bedford and I am a MESS! Please don’t forget to smile and chuckle a little when Anne has on her cranky pants;) I smile every time I think of your feisty spirit!!!

Im sad that you are sad! Hey, look at the bright sides of it.. you work for the mack daddy of companies and you have the mack daddy of families right there with you.. or should I say mack mommies!! lol.. Things will get better and if they dont, then yeah, in a year.. come on home! Just think about how great trips home are going to be… everyone will be sooo excited to see you all…Will make things extra special back in the states! And the only real advice I can give, it stand on your head, it turns your frown up side down!

You are always #1 in my heart and mind (Anne you’re are on the list but not #1) Summer is coming with sun and warmer weather. And who would have thought, home sick for NH!! I can see Vermont or New York, but NH!!!!!

Claire, I am homesick for all of you but just reading the blogs and seeing how the boys are adjusting makes my heart smile. You don’t have to stay there forever, in awhile you’ll look back at this and wonder why you even thought twice. This too shall pass, my friend. We love you!
