Some of the wieght loss may be due to the changes of moving. All those suggestions you have gotten are great. Just feed, feed, feed and all will be better soon. If he continues with ear ache I am sure you will find a pediatrician to take him to.

I miss you all.

With Love,

Hi Anne,
Sorry I couldn't call...
When we were trying to get Dylan's weight up we started him on Pediasure shakes. They have tons of fats and proteins in them and taste pretty good. We just added one to every meal for a few weeks and everything worked out fine. Also, have you had Andrew's iron level checked? Something we found out was that if a kids iron level is low and they already have "weight" issues it can prevent their little bodies from taking the necessary things out of foods, like the fats and vitamins that help them maintain a healthy weight in the first place. Another thing we started doing was adding butter to EVERYTHING he ate, butter and ranch... I know, a mother's worst nightmare that he'll get hooked and expect it forever but it worked and now my "little" boy is 59 lbs!!! He finally made it on the chart!!!
Miss ya,
H

Do they eat lunches in their classroom? There are kids with peanut allergies at the schools in NH too :) - kids with peanut allergies sit at a different table in the lunchroom. But if they are eating lunch, in the classroom, then that is a bummer.

How about giving him a pb&j before he leaves the house in the AM (for breakfast even) and let him have another for a snack after school. If Alyssa couldn't eat pb&j she'd loose weight too she doesn't eat much of anything else.

Good luck hope your little guy is feeling better soon:( give him lots of XOXOXO from us!
