Our Journey IS Our Destination

Passed OUT!

We did not fall asleep gently. We just PASSED OUT from exhaustion!

I will do updates later today. The move day went perfectly. A few fatalities, including my much beloved huge nutcracker and my desk lamp shade….but, honestly………..who REALLY cares. I don’t.  I have not been able to even TOUCH my computer yet.

I FORGOT TO SET UP CABLE TELEVISION!?!!?? Uh-oh! Well, we will survive…I hope :-)

We are off to get some breakfast, get the rest of our stuff from temporary housing, and shop for FOOD, garbage bags, and cleaning supplies. We could not bring any supplies with us….so…we have NOTHING.

Your support of us during our journey has brought us a sense of peace, love, and balance.  We appreciate your friendship and will be able to thank each of you in person on day soon (probably Christmas/New Year time frame).  Friend is an action word….and each of you simply are the best friends that we could EVER have.

Anne and Claire

    Hi Girls,

I’m so glad things are moving forward for you. I can only imagine how happy you all were when your things showed up. When I think of the boys getting excited about thier bikes, it reminds me of last fall when I watched them for you for a couple of hours, so both of you could get some shut eye. Did the bike ramp Tom made make it to your new pad? It’s almost 5:00 on a Sunday afternoon and we have the fire going in the woodstove and I’m sipping a hot toddy to try and nurse a cold. Tom and Tommy are watching a Charles Bronson Movie (Death Wish) - appropriate for a four year old. We taught Tommy how to put logs on the fire today, so he was pretty proud of himself. On another note, I am saddened everytime I walk or drive by Biron St. because I see strange cars there that I don’t recognize. Things change in life, but I guess that’s life. I miss you both and wish you the best.

    Love,

    Erika
