We have been asked several times for our info. Any items that come in a box must be marked a “gift” or we will have to pay a customs tax. Also, any mail must have Claire’s name on the outside because of the name on our unit, otherwise, they may get everything confused.

Our cell phones are still operational, but, they cost us alot to use them. There is a voice mail system and we can get the messages. We bought a calling card, so we can call you back. Leave the number because I don’t have all of them memorized and I forgot to get them off our phone at home before we left.
We are very home sick now and hoping to adjust a bit this week. Thank you all for your love.

Believe me the homesickness lessens as the days go by. We were feeling alot of the same things when we first arrived in Tokyo but all of a sudden it all comes together. Once you get into your own home and have use of your car you will be just fine. As for now just take it all in and remember things really happen for a reason, it may not make sense right now but it will.
Have fun and know you have an unbelievable support group back here in the States.

DINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You know, I was worried sick about that all day long!!!! THEN, after the LONGEST DAY IN HISTORY with just the boys and I, a LONG LONG LONG walk to the science museum, trip to the grocery store - where the items were put into my BACKPACK!!….the boys had EASY MAC and Claire and I had HOT DOGS!!! HOT DOGS!!! But, you know what…it was just perfect! The bread was fresh and I CARRIED it almost a mile back to our hotel. So, it was made with love and a blister on my toe

I feel like a cave woman when I go and shop for food each day and carry it in a pack back to my cave
