so……official news…

 Our flights are confirmed and we leave on Thursday, March 13th. We are flying out of Boston.

They called to confirm our tickets…one way. Um……….Um…..ONE-WAY tickets from Boston to Calgary! I can say that was a bit of a shocker to my little system. I did not realize the feelings I would feel about have a one way ticket to a foreign country….but, the feeling are here and they are real.

 The tenant that we have for the house seems like a great fit an all of their background stuff checked out perfectly, so I am a bit relieved about that. To have a 2 year agreement is sort of surreal, I hope it is something that we can depend on.

 I have had VERY VERY little luck with finding a house for us in Calgary. The rental market is so inflated and the yards are SO SO SO tiny. The boys need GRASS, they need to CLIMB…and we can’t take their swing set with us because it costs more to move it than to just replace it. We are trying to find something next to a park or playground. After hundreds of homes, I still do not have anything….but, we still have time….right?? As part of the relocation plan, we have accomodations in Calgary for 21 days in a condo near Claire’s work. The children’s science museum is 4 blocks away. I found out that they have a star gazing activity for the kids!! They have a creative arts museum within the science museum just for kids!

 The boys, who JUST had a week off from school for vacation, will be on VACATION again when they get to Calgary. The schools there will not be in session again until March 31st. SOOOOO…..looks like I need to find some stuff to do! I found a cool kids relocation site that has activities listed.  The Calgary Zoo is very high on Adam’s list and Andrew is dying to see the Lego place. (I must admit, I can’t wait to see the Lego place too)!!

The boys ALWAYS dance….and today, I taped them….I will upload it for your entertainment pleasure…it is long….and we think hilarious!
