Our Journey IS Our Destination
tomorrow…11am….a “redo” at the Andrew and Adam’s new school.
I talked to the principal this morning and got a few things worked out. I am FAR from her biggest fan, but, the relocation natzi really messed up things BEFORE I even walked into the school. Seriously, could this relocation person have messed up things ANY MORE?????
We are getting more news about our household goods soon. They should come this week. …can we just ALL PRAY FOR THAT???? I need normalcy….I need my COMPUTER!!! I NEED MY BED … 
I don’t really need 70-80% of the stuff on that moving van, but the things that I DO need, I REALLY need.
It was a hard weekend for us. I hope this week gets better.

I feel like this is SOOO one sided! What did YOU do today?? Seriously! Tell us! Everything..the who, the what, the where…..feeling, emotions…..tell us! The longest and most detailed wins a prize! NO kidding! I think blogs can be more interactive then just us!
Who’s first?
Quite the title huh?
Today the boys and I were on our way home from dropping off Claire and Adam asked if we were going to have Christmas in Calgary.
SO….here is the conversation flow…
Adam: Mama, Do we get to have Christmas in Canada?
Me: Yes, we are Christians, we will have Christamas no matter where we are.
Adam: Do they have a baby Jesus here?
Me: Jesus is everywhere. He does not need passports or paperwork, he is in Canada, New Hampshire, and even China (he talks about digging to China all the time)
Andrew: Will everyone get Christmas?
Me: Everyone that believes in Jesus celebrates Christmas in one way or another
Andrew: Doesn’t everyone believe in Jesus.
Me:(long pause…..trying to figure out the right thing to say) No, everyone does not believe in Jesus. Some people have different ideas and beliefs, but, that is ok. Just like our ideas about our family. Some people think it is ok, some don’t, but, we have to respect everyone’s ideas,..right?
Andrew: But, why in the WORLD would they not believe in Jesus? That is not very smart. I think that everyone should believe in Jesus.
Me: (being the proud mom…thinking that he really has a firm grasp of our beliefs) I love Jesus and I am happy that you love Jesus.
Andrew: I know what those people that don’t believe in Jesus get for Christmas
Me: Oh yeah, what?
Andrew: CLOTHES!!!! no toys, only CLOTHES!!!!!
Adam to Andrew: Andrew, we need to believe in Jesus in Canada. I don’t want to get clothes for Christmas.
Andrew: (very serously) Yes, I KNOW I believe in Jesus.
I laughed so hard that I could not even breathe…..

We went to the Calgary zoo on Sunday and the gorilla’s really got to me. I know that I have a touch of OCD about odd things sometimes…but, I just can’t stop thinking about how amazing they were. They are so human-like….so real….to say I am intrigued is a complete understatement.
I have to go back and see them. ..soon.
