We have rings that we bought 4 years ago in the Bahamas when we had a commitment ceremony, but now, we want to add something to them since it is finally LEGAL!. The process turned out to be MUCH more expensive than we ever imagined.

Talk about PARENTS OF THE YEAR!! We did not have MILK in the house when it came time for Santa’s milk and cookies! The boys were so funny about it and 100% ok with it…>THANK GOODNESS!!

The first year we have not read to the boys. Sort of sad and neat…..This was the end to a REALLY REALLY long day…….I was looking forward to them being “snug in their beds!!” so we could start WRAPPING

We only have 1 – let me repeat ONE !!!! Supersized – warehouse sized – jinormous home improvement store in Manchester, New Hampshire. We ONLY have Home Depot. We used to have the orange “HQ”, but, they went out of business or left town…now we are left with ONE. Anyway…..Home Depot has decided that more than 50% of it’s checkout lanes need to be SELF SERVE terminals! ummm…..why??????
…let me say…when self service checkout first became a reality, I was simply excited and gitty about the idea, but, after using them over the years….and seeing NO improvment, I think they are a WASTE of space and the developers of this ever-so-slow and lacking progress in retail checkout systems should all be FIRED!

The entire idea of the system being “weight” based in the bagging area is INSANE! The system completely FAILS and goes into a LOCKED position that requires a 17 year old to come over and swipe a badge,……….WITHOUT CHECKING ANYTHING…………..for you to proceed!!<IT WILL BREAK IF….
1. have a child that even goes NEAR the bagging area, the system locks up. Did the developers think that placing the bags within reach of a 5 year old would create a magnetic force field that FORCES a child to pick the little untorn tags from the top of the platic bags hanging ever so balanced in the “bagging area”.
2. Decide that you need to keep your M&M’s for later in the car …..and not “bag” them.
3. Lay down your keys or store discount card on the tiny spot between the bagging area and cash terminal.
4. Take more than 1.5 minutes to scan the next item. If you children have disappeared, have to pee, scratch each others eyes out…..the “DO YOU NEED MORE TIME???” loud beeping noise simply says…..PLEASE SEE ATTENDANT TO CONTINUE!
Save yourself a few years of life………proceed to a nice 17 year old with a bad attitude that ignores you…..it is a better experience
